Pirate's Log December: If you are one of the newbies to my blog be sure to check back and see what you've missed. If you've been here a while go back and look at your favorites. December had some good stuff.
Shiver Me Timbers Tuesday: This is a monthly series where I share all the crazy stuff my toddler does. It's the sh!t that I'll pull out to embarrasses him with when he's older and that makes me laugh instead of cry when I'm tired.
Baby New Year: I'm not sure who thought a baby was a good mascot for NYE. It makes no sense, and I share my theory why. I also recount the memorable way The Captain and I rang in the New Year.
2013 Resolutions: The obligatory resolutions list, but I did make some goodies this year. I've been pretty good about sticking to them, most days.
Thankful Thursdays: My weekly series that reminds me to stop and be thankful. If you read my list of resolutions (seriously I just told you about it, so you should have) then you know I want to be more positive. Thursdays are helping me be more positive. Don't worry, they aren't super sappy.

Sea Dog Saturday - Denali: This was our first fluffy lady. She is a gorgeous and sweet Bernese Mountain Dog and you should read her story.
Dear Autocorrect: I hate HATE autocorrect. It drives me insane most of the time and makes me look dumb. This post looks at some of the moments where autocorrect was particularly annoying, all while written on my iPhone.
Liebster Award: I was nominated for a Liebster Blog Award by the Aunt and Niece team at Toot Sweet 4 Two. You can get to know some fun stuff about me in this post too. I also nominated 11 other blogs, so give them some love and feel free to tell them Pirate Prerogative sent you.
Home Free: I'm homeless. Yay! We sold our home in Phoenix and now are indebted to my parents. Ugh.
Sea Dog Saturday - Jake & Charlie: These dogs make a great team. They have their sites set on being famous, so go read their story and help them reach stardom.
Lost at Sea: Sometimes I intend to blog about something but never manage to get around to it. This post gathers up some goodies that were almost forgotten.
The Mom to Mother Dynamic: This was my most read post this past month because it was featured on BlogHer. That was rad and exciting. It talks about how having a baby created a rivalry with my own mother.
All the Cool Kids are Doing it: My attempt to peer pressure you into joining my Google Plus cloth diapers community. It's fun to talk about diapers. If you don't get that then you probably don't use cloth. For some reason it makes poop more fun. Weird, I know, but fascinating. Come check out the community to be further fascinated.
Sea Dog Saturday - Moose & Rue: I love Bulldogs and I think The Captain and I will probably have one someday. Moose and Rue are pretty dang cute and you should go look at their big bully faces.
Waiting on Treasure from Citrus Lane: I signed up for Citrus Lane, a care package for kids and mom. I'm really excited about it, but I'm not very good at waiting. My box won't come until February 17th. If you want a box in February too then sign up. If you use my referral link you'll save some money too.
Woolzie's® Dryer Balls Make Doing the Laundry a Treasure Hunt: I got to try out some new dryer balls and loved them. Check out my review and there is also a GIVEAWAY up until 12AM on February 6th.
Sea Dog Saturday - Snarls: This guy is the youngest Sea Dog yet. I love puppies, at least when they are someone else's (puppies are trouble). Be sure to read about Snarls and his antics.
Midnight Mutiny: I'm tired. The First Mate doesn't like sleeping anymore. I am asking your advice on how to help out with this situation. I think it's getting better though.
Buccaneer Brownies: Pinterest is amazing and these are too. This recipe is so good and pretty easy to make. I think I'll have to make them again soon.
Message in a Bottle: What Happens When Twitter Breaks: Twitter went down for a couple hours and I may have had a panic attack. If you love the interwebs and twitter you can relate. See how I handled it.
