If you saw my post over the weekend about Green Child Magazine, then you know that I am a part of their new group of bloggers. One of the perks is an early look at the upcoming issues and the ability to share this with my readers (that's you!).
Here is the link to the spring issue:
This one is bursting with so much great content. I was planning on sharing my three favorites, but I couldn't narrow it down to just three! So here are some of the articles and features you will not want to miss.
Eco Fab - There are some great Easter products spotlighted here and crayons that I am certain The First Mate needs.
Cleaning for a Healthy Home - I think this is a must read for anyone who is doing the cleaning in a "green" home. I could to relate to a lot of the article.
3rd Annual Baby Gear Guide - I don't need a lot of "baby" gear now that I have a toddler, but wow! There are so many really innovative products. I think the Zoli Buzz B Nail Trimmer is the coolest thing and a must have for any new parent. I despise manicure time for The First Mate.
The 10 Easiest Vegetable to Grow from Seeds - I plan to start a garden once we have our own place again. I want to know where my food comes from, and what better way to do that than to garden!
Natural Discipline For the Early Years - I think I will be referencing this article often. We are dealing with the age 1 issue for sure and moving into the age 2 issue quickly.
10 Ways to Join Screen Free Week: To be honest I wasn't even aware of this. I would love to participate, but I'm not sure I could get The Captain to go for it. I also am not quite sure how to incorporate screen free time while being a blogger. That may be a challenge. Can you blog without screen time? Can you blog about not blogging?
Earth Day Activity Garden - I loved the garden with a dinosaur in it. It made me smile.
Your Green Child - If you are a new reader to Green Child Magazine, that you may not be aware of this section. You can send in a photo of your child to be included in an upcoming issue. I keep meaning to send one in of The First Mate.
If you haven't already subscribed for free to Green Child Magazine, you can do so here.
