Shedding My Pirate Booty

It has officially been two weeks since I seriously started my weight loss plan. You can read more about my current weight and motivation in I'd Break a Peg Leg at this Weight. Week one kicked off without a hitch and the weight just seemed to fall off. This usually happens for me when I start to change my eating habits. I don't recall really getting hungry in week one. I did go out to eat with my family . ordered a Margarita that I somehow forgot had 125 calories. Ugh.

I was thrilled with the eight pound loss, especially because it was one more pound than The Captain lost. He normally blow me away in numbers, so let me have that little victory please. Now onto week two. This was a bit more challenging, because I felt hungry pretty much always! It was as if my stomach was punching my insides for not giving it mozzarella sticks and taco bell anymore. (I really want some damn mozzarella sticks now) Overall I still did alright. Oh, and did I mention that I am currently bloated and retaining water because my lady days will start at any moment? Yeah, that sucks on weigh-in day.

Net Calories Consumed: 12,604/12,250
Weight Lost:  -4 lbs, -11.5 lbs total
Current Weight: 216 lbs

My week two report.
Although it was a much smaller weight loss than the first week, it is still a great step in the right direction. My goal is to lose 1.5 pounds per week, so I am ahead of schedule. I will keep these updates going every weigh-in day (Monday) and you can always link up your own weight loss journey too.
