Shedding My Pirate Booty Three Month Update

Yes, it's been something like three months since I started this. I believe my first day was August 26th, 2013. For the first time, I was not looking forward to weighing in or writing this post. I didn't have a very good week. There were some times where eating out was the only option and I indulged a bit more than I should have. If you look at my chart, it was pretty ugly.

That is why I was terrified to step on the scale. I didn't want to know how much weight I had gained. I was disappointed that I couldn't say no to the Chocolate Chip cookies that nanny made, or the stay away from See's Candy an extra day this week. In the end, I stepped on the scale anyways, and I really couldn't believe it.

Three Month Results:

Calories Burned Exercising: 3121
Net Calories Consumed: 12,399/10,570
Weight Lost: -1.5 lbs, 26 lbs total
Current Weight: 202 lbs

I somehow lost a pound and a half. I am truly baffled because I burned fewer calories and ate more than my goal. I am going to chalk it up to a change in my pattern and my body needing the extra fuel. I don't think I'll be lucky enough to have similar results next week if I keep this up.

As I finish this update my stomach is loudly grumbling for food, so I'm off to make some oatmeal before I binge on the donuts sitting on the counter. (I didn't buy them!)
