Shedding My Pirate Booty Week Twelve

It's Monday, and that means it's time for another update in my Shedding My Pirate Booty series. Last week was full of excitement, but this week is not as motivating. I consumed less calories, than last week, but the numbers on the scale didn't quite reflect this.

Week Twelve Results:

Calories Burned Exercising: 3254
Net Calories Consumed: 10290/10,570
Weight Lost: -0.5 lbs, 24.5 lbs total
Current Weight: 203.5 lbs

Week Twelve Net Calories

With only a half a pound loss this week, I am working to not get discouraged. Combined with last week's three pound loss, that's still an average of 2 pounds per week. I haven't been feeling well this past week either, so that has really been affecting my eating habits. I feel the need to eat to settle my stomach, but it doesn't seem to do the trick. Then I think maybe I shouldn't eat, and then I feel starving and eat a ton at once. Not so great for weight loss.

I am also being honest with myself, because that is the key to making this time around successful. I could have been more active this week on my days off. I get plenty of activity at work, and with the influx of heavy shipments for the holidays I've been in overdrive. However, on my days off I always have big plans to go hiking or something and it never happens. I will make a better effort to be more active.

I still have my sights set high to be in the 100s this Winter. If you saw my Winter ONEderland challenge, you'll know I want to hit 195 pounds by December 30th. That means I need to step it up to lose about 1.5 pounds a week until then. Time to get moving.

  1. Mmm! These look yummy! I'll have to try them out- I love everything pumpkin! :) I haven't really had much success with pancakes so usually do waffles in our oh-so-easy wafflemaker, but I think I may have to try again! My son would love 'em!

  2. These are really easy. I whip them up all the time. They also freeze really well, so you can make a large batch and just defrost a few when you don't feel like messing up the kitchen.
