Welcome to the first Tuesday in December. While you are in cruising the Internet for crazy shopping deals, my toddler is doing something crazy. Although, I'm starting to wonder if all these weird things toddlers do is really just a two year old's normal.
Like smothering Eeyore in a pink princess doll bed while watching football. That's totally normal, right? Well, I am pretty sure petting a carpet covered pole at Wal-Mart and saying "Nice kitty" isn't normal.
|Sorry for the blurry pic, he was excited to see the "kitty."|
The First Mate was not a fan of more life-like animals on another shopping trip. He wouldn't come near this gorilla, even though it reminded me of our pug Jackson.
Sometimes The First Mate is a pretty normal kid though. He wears his bat outfit to drive his car, and he puts on his punk rock skeleton outfit to go to the mall, just like everyone else.
The First Mate plays at the park like other kids too. He will gladly climb the big kids cargo net, though he is still terrified to go down slides.
He also goes on the swings. I am still not sure if he liked it though. He kept yelling "Too much fun Mama, too much fun" while he made a face of indifference.
So tell me, how normal is my toddler?
