This month's box was completely different than what I had seen floating around the interwebs. I was so excited to see the that little bee staring back at me. Here are the details.
Skip Hop Zoo Lunchie Insulated Bag- Bee
We have seen so many other Citrus Lane families receive these lunch bags over the past few months and I was always a bit envious. They are so stinking cute and Skip Hop is a great brand. It was nice to finally get one in our box. Retail $13.99
Plan Toys First Shape Sorter
We have received Plan Toys in previous Citrus Lane boxes and liked them a lot. We even purchased quite a few as Christmas gifts for The First Mate this year. This toy seems a little young, and it is most certainly not his first shape sorter. He does like it though, his Papa taught him it was a mask. Retail $14.99
Peter Rabbit Organics 100% Fruit Snacks- Pear & Apple
We didn't receive a snack last month, so The First Mate was glad to see one in this month's box. He also recently saw Peter Rabbit on TV, so I think he liked this package too. Snacks are always a win. Retail $1.84
Mommy's Bliss Kids Upset Tummy & Nausea Relief
This is a good product to have in the medicine cabinet just in case. We haven't really had any tummy ache problems yet, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Retail $8.99
Ruby Ribbon Coupon- 20%off
There have been a lot of coupons included in recent Citrus Lane boxes. Sometimes I use them, like FabKids, sometimes they are a complete waste, like last few months. Ruby Ribbon offers shapewear, and I actually visited their website to check it out. At $70-$90 for a tank, I will not be purchasing a thing from them. The reverse of the coupon also has info on becoming a "mompreneur" and selling Ruby Ribbon merchandise. Again, nothing I will use. Hey Citrus Lane, please start including real items for Moms again, or at least add in an extra item for my kid. These coupons are laming up your boxes. No retail value
Overall, I like this box. I think I would have liked it because of the backpack alone. Compared to other boxes people received, this was a pretty good value of $39.81. That's compared to a the subscription price that ranges from $21-$29 a month (depending on what plan you choose). We will be continuing our subscription for another year, thanks to the holiday deals that Citrus Lane offered last month.
