Shedding My Pirate Booty Week 21 1/2

If you read my Monday update, then you know my Shedding My Pirate Booty series is shifting to Wednesdays while I am a part of the Mamavation Bootcamp 18. This is a mini recap of the past week in my quest to get healthy. You can read more about my thoughts on the past week, as well as see a video update, over at Mamavation.

I didn't have my nutrition plan in place this week, so I'm sure my chart will look different in the next update. This week I averaged 1058 net calories a day. That's after exercise calories are accounted for, so don't worry, I ate a lot more than that.


Net Calories for week 21, 01/13-01/19

Here's what my full stats were:


Week Twenty-One Results:

Calories Burned Exercising: 4702
Net Calories Consumed: 7413/10,220
Weight Lost:  -0 lbs,  -33 lbs total
Current Weight:  195 lbs

I'm pretty sure that's the most calories I've burned ever, so that's exciting. You may be shocked to see I didn't lose any weight with stats like I've got above. I'm not shocked. This is just my body's reaction to my new routine mixed with my angry lady parts. My muscles were basically freaking out at all the new exercise and were holding on to all the moisture and water they could to help heal. Muscle weighs more than fat, so as I build muscle, my weight may not seem affected, but my body composition will be. As for the other factor, I  always tend to gain or maintain when I am having my "lady days" as I call them. That is just another thing to add to the least of why being a woman sucks. 

So I'm good with that. I'm really excited to spend this week using all the knowledge I gained from my week of orientation. I think I will see results on the scale soon.
