Citrus Lane March 2014 Box: Look at the Loot

It seemed like the longest month ever waiting for a new Citrus Lane box to arrive. I was checking my tracking updates a few times a day, just in case it was delivered early. When I checked the mail yesterday and found our March box, I was excited. Then I picked it up and noticed it was heavy. Heavy is usually a good sign.

When I opened up the signature Citrus Lane box and tissue paper, this is what I found:

Just a reminder that this box is for a 2 year old boy.

Petit Collage Beginner Puzzle Set - Safari Babies

At first I thought this would be a bit too young for The First Mate, who's almost two and a half. Then I realized this is a true jigsaw type puzzle and I panicked that my baby is growing up. I had an instant flash forward to his future of building puzzle, constructing LEGO creations, and playing video games on a level I could never comprehend. I'm not ready. However, the puzzle is cute and we have been making frequent trips to the local Safari Park so he is all about these animals.
Retail $13.00

Eco-Kids Eco-Dough

We haven't explored the realm of sculpting dough yet, probably because messes are messy. This eco-dough sounds wonderful though. I love that it is non-toxic and made with things like vegetable and fruit extracts and other earthy things. I foresee a patio craft project soon. And a bath. And probably laundry.
Retail $6.20

Me4Kidz Medi Buddy

A first aid kit is always a great item to have when you are raising a toddle boy. The First Mate is active and loves to climb and jump off everything. Bumps and bruises happen. It's got kid friendly bandages and wipes that you can take with you on the go.
Retail $5.99

Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion

Again, I am glad that there are "mom" items included in the boxes again. However, I am not a big personal care kind of person. Not that I don't take care of my personal stuff, I'm just not big on lots of products. This will most likely get used by The Captain because he is always looking for a good lotion for his dry hands.
Retail $14.26

Although I have expressed some serious crankiness towards the coupons in the past, I wasn't mad at 'cha Citrus Lane. These were the usually included "save --% off more from this brand" sort of deals. I did notice code for 20% off the Citrus Lane shop though, which is convenient considering I just bought something from the shop the day BEFORE. It's cool, I still had a coupon and a credit. Speaking of coupons, if you sign up for a new subscription HERE, you'll get 50% off your first box. Sweet.

We will get some use out of all of these items, so this box is a good one. The total value of this month's subscription box is $39.45. That's pretty good for just 4 items. Especially when you considering that's almost double the average cost of a box. I saw Citrus Lane is running an annual subscription deal where each box is only $19, so that's a steal.

Disclosure: I am in no way affiliated with Citrus Lane. I do provide a referral link which gets me a $20 credit for anyone who orders a subscription through my link. The Amazon images go through my affiliate link, as I am a member of the Amazon affiliate program.
