Shedding My Pirate Booty Week Twenty-Eight

This week was my first week without the structure and accountability of bootcamp. I really wanted to blow it out of the water, but the transition was just more difficult that I expected. Without the guardrails of bootcamp, I felt like I could be a bit more relaxed in my routine.

Shedding My Pirate Booty Week 28 stats

Part of this was because I had just come off a weekend away where I wasn't on my "strict" plan. I say that in quotations because it was always up to me what I ate and whether or not I did my exercises. I just didn't have my normal resources available and that weekend without structure stretched into this past week too.

I didn't work out until Thursday. It felt good to just make it happen again. Then I started to get antsy that I hadn't run. I just didn't have a moment to schedule it in until Saturday. It wasn't my best run, but I did it.

I think I'm getting out of my funk and getting back into my groove now. I've found the workouts that I like and will keep up. Unfortunately, scheduling gym time has been much more complicated, so my runs will have to happen when they happen, or when I'm going crazy from not running.

That was a big long explanation before my stats, but it's not as bad as I made it sound.

Week Twenty-Eight Results:

Calories Burned Exercising: 2599
Net Calories Consumed: 10,068/10,290
Weight Lost:  -0 lbs,  -45.5 lbs total
Current Weight:  182.5 lbs

I stayed the same, but that's actually normal for me during my lady days. Bootcamp was probably the only time I lost weight at those times. I am feeling motivated and I have a timeline that I want to reach me goals in. Those goals mean I need to lose 1-2 pounds a week, so my level of commitment and focus needs to stay on track.

I'm setting mini goals each week to keep me going in the right direction, and as my new form of accountability.

  1. Drink at least 9 glasses of water a day
  2. Workout 6 days a week
  3. Hit 10,000 steps a day
  4. Stay within my calorie range
  5. Eat enough protein
I'm still keeping in contact with my Mamavation Moms, +Toni Carrigan and +Dee Copeland too. We worked so well together during the campaign, so that is an essential piece to keep going.

You can hangout with us and some others on Mamavation TV tonight for a slumber party! Be sure to RSVP and enter the giveaway too

What goals are you setting for yourself? How will you work to achieve them? (They don't need to be weight loss related either)

  4. Great Job this week. Glad you are back into the groove. It's so hard when the structure leaves and things are no longer mandatory. Thanks for continuing to be an encouragement to me.
