Today's update is a little different than some of the rest. I decided to recognize how far I've come in these 29 weeks. I've still got a ways to go, but I've reached a milestone today!
Week Twenty-Nine Results:
Calories Burned Exercising: 2681
Net Calories Consumed: 8837/10,080
Weight Lost: -4.5 lbs, -50 lbs total
Current Weight: 178 lbs
That's right, I've lost 50 pounds so far! I didn't expect it to happen so fast, but this week was a big 4.5 pound loss. I've come a long way, as you can see by this terrible before picture taken on the fourth of July last year.
Then check out me in the same clothes today. I never thought I would be able to do one of those me in fat pants pics, but I did. Maybe I'll save those pants for when I get to my final goal weight. Please excuse my Richie Sambora hair, I am in need of a haircut.
There were a lot of things that contributed to that number on the scale this week. I got back into exercising this week and had some really great workouts, that was a factor for sure. I also came off of a week with no weight loss and the end of my period. Then, at the end of the week I got sick with some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning. I had to cancel my running days and stick to a bland a minimal BRAT diet. Not fun.
I'm still not feeling all that great and I am itching to run. It's been way too long. I'm looking forward to hitting another milestone next week, my pre-pregnancy weight of 176 pounds.
I have to thank everyone who has been supportive, and even those who haven't because... BOOYAH. Like I said, I am not to my goal, at all, but I'm proud of the work I've done thus far.
See you next week.
