A Post a Day Keeps the Lazy Away

So some time before midnight on Easter Sunday while I was trying to get the focus to write yesterday's two blog posts, I decided to challenge myself even more. Apparently I'm that crazy and masochistic. I vowed to blog every single day for the next 30 days (but this is day 2 already, yesterday most definitely counts). I have always had a personal rule of posting 3 times a week, and I have broken that many times. Rebel.

Why did I do this to myself? Because I keep falling into this bad blogger slump of ignoring all things blogging related. I like blogging and I want it to become a job that can eventually replace my income so I don't have to work for The Man. The reality of that is I have to write and create content regularly. I also have to do about a million other things like promote, schedule tweets, deal with Facebook and it's douchiness, and stuff like that.

I don't know what I'll blog about, but somehow I will make it work. I always have ideas, they just don't always come to fruition. My hopes are that I will get into the habit of writing regularly and exercising a new muscle (my brain). I probably won't keep up every single day after this challenge, because it really does sound crazy to me now. It's already been released into the twitter world though, so no backing down. Can I take a day off since I posted twice yesterday?

Wish me luck and I'll see you tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the day after that, and then again after that, and the next day...

Oh God, I'm going to drive you all crazy. Then we'll be twinsies.
