Shedding My Pirate Booty Week Thirty-Two

It's been a long time coming, but 3 years and 3 months later, I did it. I am finally back hit my pre-pregnancy weight. I probably should have built a little more suspense, but I'm excited to see this number on the scale. When I was last this weight I felt like I was healthy enough to try and conceive. Apparently I was, because I was pregnant right away and my weight and my belly ballooned from there. I never got to really enjoy losing the thirty plus pounds I lost that time around or to get to my intended goal weight.

This is also probably the last soda I drank.

I can't really recall my timeline of my weight before that. I know I was around 135 pounds and a freaking size 5 when I met The Captain 12 years ago. Then around 155 pounds (after a bout with Nutri-System) when we got married in 2007. My weight has always been fluctuating. Always. Part of my goal when I started this Shedding My Pirate Booty series, was to put an end to the fluctuation, the diets, and the constant struggle to be healthy. I just want to BE a healthy person, not someone who is trying to be healthy.

So, now that I have been all nostalgic and rambled on and on, here are my stats for the week.

I never consume less than 1200 calories in a day.

Week Thirty-Two Results: 

Calories Burned Exercising: 3109
Net Calories Consumed: 9374/10,080
Weight Lost:  -1.5 lbs,  -53 lbs total
Current Weight:  175 lbs

I burned more calories, but I did eat a bit more too. Most of those calories were from Sunday dinner with my family. I always account for more on that day though. I give most credit to getting in two runs this week for my loss this week. That was just one of the goals I set for myself, out of a few.

  • Exercise 6 days - I got in 4 days, better than last week. I also clocked in 7.55 miles.
  • Run at least 2 times - I got in my 2 runs!
  • Drink my water - I missed my water a day or two. 
  • Stay within my calories - I only had one day that I went over. This was Sunday dinner with the family, so I expected to go over. 
  • Hangout with my fellow bootcampers - We still haven't gotten a hangout in, but it will happen soon.
