Shedding My Pirate Booty Week Thirty-Three

Before I share my weight loss stats for this week, I thought I'd share some observations. Apparently when you've lost upwards of 50 pounds people choose to do two things. Comment on your weight loss, or act like nothing has changed. 

I find the latter to be very confusing. Not that I'm fishing for complements or anything. It just makes me wonder if they are afraid to mention that yes, I was fat before or if they are just in need of corrective lenses. I lost the weight, so I'm aware I needed to lose it. It's okay to point out the obvious. Promise. 

Can you not SEE that I've lost weight?

I don't really like the big hoopla and fuss though. I like feeling supported and having my efforts recognized, but not crazy compliments and borderline offensive comments. I am very bad with compliments and never know how to respond. As far as the comments, "You're wasting away" comes to mind as the most offensive. No, I am not actually, but thanks for being rude. 

Anyway, I digress.

I had a pretty kick ass week with my stats. 

Week Thirty-Three Results: 

Calories Burned Exercising: 4234
Net Calories Consumed: 7305/10,080
Weight Lost:  -1 lbs,  -54 lbs total
Current Weight:  174 lbs

I burned a ton more calories this week. I got in two run days, and hit above 7 miles total. I also was really on track with my calories, even with a Disneyland trip thrown in the middle of the week. Of course I would've liked to lose more than a pound, but I'll take it. I'm just going to keep it up and see what the work gets me next week.
