Shedding My Pirate Booty Week Forty-Six

I always go into each week with a plan, and then life happens. Last week I set a goal to burn more calories and eat less calories. That's not exactly what happened. 

Work has been extremely stressful and hectic. It's been tough to workout when I am beat at the end of the day. On top of the work stress I also went to find The First Mate a preschool. More stress. Oh, and did I mention it's also that week when my lady days make their appearance? Bloated stress. 

I did get in a killer run though that helped relieve some of that stress. I took off on the first mile, and slightly regretted that the rest of the run, and the next few days actually. My bum was sore. The sore legs and bum had me skip my second run of the week. I need to build back up to my old running schedule. I also want to workout at home more, but I have been tired. Excuse, I know, but true.

I was hungry this week too. I blame hormones and stress, for sure. Sunday was a birthday celebration complete with chocolate cake, so that's where those calories came from. I was doing well with calories until my body demanded I feed it more chocolate and carbs. You can see where my PMS cravings took over. 

Staying the same this week is okay with me. However, my calories just adjusted down again, so next week I'll be working with 30 fewer calories a day. I'll need to make some adjustments.

Today is inventory at work, and that should allow things to calm down a touch. I am going to really work on scheduling things and see if that helps me stay on top of my exercises. Exercise will be critical for my continued goals as my calories dwindle.
